•  Beall Tool Company         This is where I get all my buffing supplies. He's got a clock maker's forum and some amazing photos of his projects. Worth a look.

•  Camtronics-CNC         Great deals on motors and power supply cases.

•  Hobby CNC         A variety of high-quality CNC products, from router plans and stepper motors to full CNC kits for the hobbyist.

•  Online Metals         Great place to get all sorts of metal for cheap. No min order and good prices to boot!

•  Xylotex         Great motor/controller kits. Pretty much plug and play. A great place to start for a first time CNC'er.

•  CNCZone         One of, if not the best, cnc forum on the web.

•  Cutting Edge CNC         A great site with some nice tips on building a cnc machine. Also a good review on a K2 cnc machine.

•  Peters CNC Ecke (Peters CNC Corner)         Great German CNC forum. It's in German, but you can always enjoy the pictures. This is pretty much the German CNCZone. Lots of helpful people and lots of information.

•  Homestead Finshing Products         An interesting article about using shellac.

•  Inkscape         Free Open Source vector graphics editor, with capabilities similar to Illustrator, Freehand, CorelDraw. A must have!

•  Mach3         PC-based cnc control software. The price is right, and it's got more features than you'll know what to do with.

•  VectorArt 3D         Amazing and affordable 3D models that work with their free machining software. The models also import into Vectric's VCarve Pro and Cut3D. Great stuff, super service, and they'll make custom models if you don't see what you need!

•  Vectric.com         Affordable, innovative software solutions for your CNC machine. All of their software is available as a free download trial version, so you can cut files on your CNC router or engraving machine before purchasing.

•  Classic Carving Patterns         The Wood Carving Site dedicated to the designs, themes, and ideas for your next Wood Carving project! Some free patterns in vector format. They import great into VCarve Pro.
